Shai Secunda

Shai Secunda is a fellow at the Martin Buber Society of Fellows at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he teaches rabbinic literature and comparative religion. His research focuses on the Babylonian Talmud and its Sasanian context.  His publications include Shoshannat Yaakov: Jewish and Iranian Studies in Honor of Yaakov Elman, co-edited with Steven Fine (Brill, 2013), and The Iranian Talmud: Reading the Bavli in its Sasanian Context (UPenn Press, 2013).
