Jason S. Sexton is a systematic theologian with research interests lying at the intellectual crossroads of theology and culture. He is Lecturer in the Honors Department at California State University, Fullerton and is a Research Associate at the University of Southern California’s Center for Religion and Civic Culture. A fourth-generation Californian he’s published widely in contemporary theology, is the author of The Trinitarian Theology of Stanley J. Grenz (T&T Clark/Bloomsbury, 2013), and is co-editor of Theology and California: Theological Refractions on California’s Culture (Ashgate, 2014). He’s also the project convener of the Theological Engagement with California’s Culture Project (TECC), bringing together theologians, historians, social scientists and others to engage California’s variegated cultural phenomena with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
