Davis Hankins is Lecturer in Philosophy and Religion at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. He works primarily in the fields of Israelite Wisdom Literature, Critical Theory and Psychoanalysis. His monograph on the Book of Job is forthcoming from Northwestern University Press, and he is currently working on a commentary on the book of Ecclesiastes.
