Brad Holden, Senior Editor for the Marginalia Review of Books, is a poet and scholar, completing his Ph.D. in English and Renaissance Studies at Yale University. His dissertation, “Milton between the Reformation and Enlightenment: Religion in the Age of Revolution,” brings together his interests in history, religion, and literature, and a portion of this project is forthcoming in The Oxford Handbook of Calvin and Calvinism. Brad has published essays on Shakespeare and Milton, and his poetry has appeared in various journals. He is a graduate of Yale Divinity School and has received fellowships to study in Israel and Germany. He currently teaches creative writing at Yale.
