His most recent book is Portraits of a Mature God: Choices in Old Testament Theology, and current book projects include A Chorus of Prophetic Voices: Introducing the Prophetic Literature of Ancient Israel and An Apocryphal God: Beyond Divine Maturity. He is a contributor to The Oxford Encyclopedia of the Bible and Theology.
