Iuliana Viezure is Assistant Professor of Religion at Seton Hall University. She specializes in ecclesiastical history and the history of the Christological controversies in Late Antiquity. Dr. Viezure is interested in the history of the relations between the different patriarchal sees in the fifth and sixth centuries, particularly between Rome and Constantinople, and the literary construction of authority in this period.
