Dara Barnat

daraDara Barnat’s poetry appears widely in journals in the United States and Israel. She is the author of the chapbook Headwind Migration (2009), as well as translations and critical essays. Dara holds a Ph.D. from the School of Cultural Studies at Tel Aviv University. Her research explores Walt Whitman’s influence on Jewish American Poetry. Dara teaches poetry and creative writing. She lives in Tel Aviv and New York City.
